Named Endowed Scholarships

 Kevin K. McBride Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship honors Kevin K. McBride of Cumming, Georgia who served as Georgia CCIM Chapter’s finance manager from 2008 until 2015.  Kevin, a native of New York, earned a BA from Molloy College in Rockville Centre, New York and an MBA from Kennesaw State University in Georgia.  In addition to his duties for Georgia CCIM Kevin was the controller for First Colony Financial Corporation for nearly fifteen years and the part-time controller of the Lionheart School, a school for autistic children co-founded by his wife Victoria in 2000.  Mr. McBride passed away in 2015 from a rare form of leukemia and is survived by his wife, son and daughter. 

This $1,000 scholarship is available to current members in good standing of Georgia CCIM Chapter and the CCIM Institute and shall be used toward any CCIM core curriculum course.  Application Deadline: April 1st*.  APPLY HERE. *2016 scholarship has been awarded.

Edward A. Walsh Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship honors Edward A. Walsh, CCIM of Macon, Georgia who served as president of Georgia CCIM Chapter in 1997.  Ed was a graduate of The University of Georgia and earned his MBA from Georgia College and State University.  In 1994 Mr. Walsh co-founded The Summit Group, a full-service commercial real estate firm serving Macon and middle Georgia.  Mr. Walsh passed away in 2015 at 55 from a brain tumor and is survived by his wife and two daughters.

This $1,000 scholarship is available to current members in good standing of Georgia CCIM Chapter and the CCIM Institute and shall be used toward any CCIM core curriculum course.  Application Deadline: October 1stAPPLY HERE.

Robert (“Bob”) M. White Scholarship

This scholarship honors Bob White, CCIM as a founding member and for his dedication, commitment, outstanding achievement and service in the commercial real estate industry and for his twenty five years as service to Georgia CCIM in his role as Candidate Guidance Chairman.  Bob is an agent with Adams Commercial Real Estate.  Prior to his work in the commercial real estate industry Bob served as a Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps and spent twenty years as a Geological Engineer and Geophysicist.

This$1,000 scholarship is available to current Georgia State University students.  Application Deadline: October 31stAPPLY HERE.

Named Endowed Scholarships are administered by the CCIM Foundation a 501©(3) non-profit organization.  The Mission of the CCIM Foundation is to advance and foster commercial real estate education through scholarships, programs and initiatives.  


CCIM Course Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to active Georgia CCIM members pursuing the CCIM designation who demonstrate commitment and professionalism in the commercial real estate industry. The scholarship provides full tuition for one designation course. Application Deadline: November 30th.  APPLY HERE.


Cultural Diversity Education Program

This program offers discounted tuition for the CCIM Foundations of Success in Commercial Real Estate course, a two-day course on the basics of Commercial Investment Real Estate. Learn more.


Georgia Association of Realtors

This scholarship is awarded by the GAR to active real estate licensees or employees of Georgia real estate or trade organizations.  The scholarship provides tuition towards any CCIM or Ward Center course.  Learn more
